2019 Season
WTF’s Fridays@3 reading series is a renowned program for the development and discovery of new work! Many Festival productions started as Fridays@3 readings, including last season’s Lempicka and Seared and this season’s Tell Me I’m Not Crazy and Selling Kabul. Spend the afternoon up close and personal with a play in development, read by brilliant actors!
All Fridays@3 readings take place at The Clark Auditorium (225 South St), except for the August 2nd reading of Female Troubles, which will take place on the Nikos Stage in the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance.

Elinor Benton finds herself surprisingly and undeniably knocked up. As she is unmarried and this is 19th century England, she has a very big problem. Facing devastating ruin, Elinor and her girlfriends must journey to find the infamous midwife Madame Restell, who offers cures for women with “female troubles.”
